AboutCeremony
The
Sveta Petka Orthodox Church, Mill Park at 2:00 PM.
The ceremony is thirty minutes and will be conducted in both Macedonian and English.
This traditional Orthodox service is a blessing of our union, shared with the people who mean the most to us.
It includes sacred rituals such as the crowning, the lighting of candles, and walking around the altar - symbolising unity, commitment, and our shared path forward.
Reception
The
Hubert Estate, Coldstream at 5:00 PM
We’ll begin the evening with canapés and drinks in the Art Gallery, before making our way to the Harriet hall for a seated dinner at 6:00 PM.
Throughout the night, we’ll be celebrating with a mix of modern touches and some of our favourite Balkan traditions - including the oro (traditional circle dancing) .
But most of all, we can’t wait to see you on the dancefloor.
The evening will wrap up at 11:00 PM.
Though Milena was born in Russia and raised in New Zealand by her Russian and Serbian-Macedonian family, life had a way of gently guiding her back to her roots. In Australia, she met Jovan, born to Macedonian parents and raised locally, where they quickly bonded over their shared heritage and values. Together, they begin a new chapter, blending their Eastern traditions with the lives they’ve built in the West.

Black Tie.
We’d love for our guests to dress to impress!
Black tie means tuxedos or classic suits for gentlemen and floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses for ladies.
Think formal and fabulous - we can’t wait to celebrate in style with you!

We kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children from our close family and young babies with breastfeeding mums.
We've spoken directly with those whose little ones are invited, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
We hope this gives all our guests the chance to relax, let their hair down, and enjoy a night off!

But if you'd like to help us kick off our next adventure, there will be a wishing well at the reception.

There is plenty of parking available at both Sveta Petka and Hubert Estate.
Sveta Petka | please park behind the administrative building to keep the areas closest to the church accessible to the bridal party. Additional parking is available on Mayfield Drive.
Hubert Estate | please park in the car park. Charging stations on site for electric vehicles.

There are plenty of nearby Airbnbs and hotels for anyone who’d prefer to stay local and skip the late-night drive home.
